🏊‍♂️Ian from Zane Pool Heating Brisbane South recently teamed up with a repeat builder partner to tackle a tricky premium pool and separate spa combo.

The Challenge: The equipment pad was located a whopping 25 metres away from the pool. Long runs mean increased friction loss and potential heat drops, meaning the hydraulics had to be perfectly engineered. Plus, the client wanted the entire system optimised to run off their large home solar and battery setup.

The Setup:
🔹 Upsized pipework to slash hydraulic resistance.
🔹 Spa: Waterco Electroheat ECO-VS 19kW heat pump, Hydrostorm 250 pump, Digichlor sanitation, and a Dontek controller.
🔹 Pool: Electroheat ECO-VS 27kW heat pump, Supatuf 100 pump, and ultra-fine Glass Pearl media filtration.

The First Start-Up Results: Ian fired up the 4,000L spa on a cool 18C day. In just 4 hours, the water temp jumped from 19C to a perfect 32C!

Because of the smart variable-speed inverter technology, the heat pump only needed to run at 68% capacity to get the job done. Low amp draw = maximum solar battery utilisation = practically $0$ running costs for the client. ☀️✨

Ian from Zane Solar Pool Heating Brisbane South recently took a call from a customer with a leaking system. The twist? This particular Zane Gulfstream system was 32 years old!

When Ian got on-site to inspect the issue, he found that the headers/manifolds at each end had finally started to leak after more than three decades of reliable service under the Australian sun.
